Youth Livestock Judging in Fairfield County

If you are youth who is 4-H or FFA age, and would enjoy participating in a county livestock judging program, we want to hear from you.

Livestock judging gives young people many valuable opportunities to develop skills that will help them for the rest of their lives. They’ll be able to apply the skills they learn as a livestock judge to any number of different professional situations they later encounter. With that thought in mind, there is interest in offering Fairfield County youth the opportunity to develop their livestock judging skills through participation in a county wide program. There will be two opportunities to visit with Trey Miller and Justin Bachman who will be heading up this effort. The first is Tuesday December 16, and the second is Wednesday December 17, 2014. Both meetings are from 6 p.m. until 7 and both meetings will be the same so you only are asked to attend one. This will be an opportunity to hear what this program will involve and also have all your questions answered. Even if you can't attend, please complete this survey and let us know you are interested.
